Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to our Damers nursery community. At Damers, we are proud to provide a caring, inclusive and inspiring environment where every child is known, valued and supported to flourish. Rooted in our school values of kindness, respect, courage, equality, honesty and resilience, we aim to nurture confident, happy children who feel safe, secure and excited to explore the world around them.

We aim for our nursery to be a joyful and engaging place where children learn through play, discovery, and meaningful relationships.  We work in close partnership with families, recognising that you are your child’s first and most important educator. Together, we will create a strong foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring every child develops a love of learning and the confidence to thrive.

We are very much looking forward to getting to know your child and working closely with you as part of our Damers family.

About Our Nursery

Damers First School Nursery will provide a high-quality early years education within our school setting. We want the nursery to reflect the warm, inclusive and nurturing ethos of Damers First School, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to be their very best.

Through strong relationships, carefully planned provision and a rich, play-based curriculum, we will create an environment where children feel safe, confident and inspired to explore, learn and grow.

It is important to us to do our very best to ensure that all children thrive. We are committed to supporting each child’s unique needs and interests, celebrating individuality and promoting a love of learning from the very start of their educational journey. As part of the Damers community, our nursery children will benefit from a strong sense of belonging and shared values across the school.

We also place great importance on building positive, trusting partnerships with families. By working closely together, we ensure that children experience a smooth and supportive transition into Reception and beyond.
